[00:04:05] Penelty Yeah, his strange wife Penelty Strange wife I love it But the real reason we got Michael and here again, we're talking about winter but spring and summer is going to be in session before you know it and you guys are always looking for people for hire Talk about it Yeah So we have several spring and summer positions opening up right now for hire We've got lifeguards baseball softball umpires baseball softball scorekeepers concessions attendants

[00:04:35] and soccer referees So all those positions are open right now The soccer season starts in April first weekend of April and then the baseball season starts in the middle of April and then we run until the middle of summer or so But all those positions are open right now Great part-time work or seasonal work for kids out there that are looking for you know, part-time job they still want to enjoy their summers you know, hang out with their friends and such Come work at the Gilly Pool we're pretty flexible with schedules and such

[00:05:04] So, yeah those positions are open right now at mcminnvilletn.gov And again, you know we've had like back in the day being on the radio we talked about this Guys, I'm telling you what he's talked about if you have a kid out there that still wants to enjoy their summer Yeah and make quick money during the summertime while there is no schooling session This is like the best thing I've told Melody about her son I'm telling you guys if you and how old do they need to be? 16 16 16 by

[00:05:34] the start of their season So, 16 by 1st of April for soccer 16 by middle of April for baseball, softball and, you know 16 for lifeguards too Yeah And then So, you've got plenty of opportunity if you're not quite there by April but you'll be there by summer then you can just apply then That's right That's nice though It really is And I mean you get to hang out with your friends Exactly It's a fun atmosphere the ghillie pool is a pretty

[00:06:04] hopping place during the summer Get a good tan That's right That is like the reason to get a job And then we'll you know while you're here speaking of the summertime will the is it called the splash park what is it going to be called The new section Are we getting a new section between No, I know So, we did apply for that through the Blue Cross Blue Shield grant We did not get it this year So, there's nothing happening right now with that So, we have the ghillie pool

[00:06:33] opening Memorial Day weekend and we're excited for that Okay, good I love it And then are we signing up anything for sports like if your kid wants to be in soccer t-ball softball Yeah So, all of those sports are open right now Soccer Actually, the registration ends for soccer next Sunday the 16th Okay And then baseball is the 22nd So, February 22nd Because once we you know we try to get all the hiring done get all the coaches in order

[00:07:04] We want to start soccer practices by middle of March or before spring break So, you know really that's only five weeks away So Don't blink Don't blink It's going to be here before you know it kids But and then the baseball season again starts at the end of April or middle of April It just depends on how we get basketball So, we're in basketball season right now Right There's been some delays with you know weather and such but we're going to look to open baseball season by the middle of April as well Middle of April Okay

[00:07:34] And then and if anybody wants to register they can can they go online and in person Yes So, you can come in person to the Milner Recreation Center We're open seven days a week Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday or Saturday 6 or not 6 a.m. Nobody's there at 6 a.m. on Saturdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays On Sundays And then online visit mcmdl.tn.gov Go to the Parks and Recreation page on the main website and then on the side it'll say

[00:08:04] youth and adult or youth sport and program registrations Yeah It'll take you to the program registration site And I think one cool thing about this is if you register your kid once before and you have a you have a login it's going to be there Yeah Yeah That's right We've signed up Walker for Fall Ball this past year Yep And he absolutely loved it and now that I know that I'm signed up I can just go in there and all the information are in there All the information is there All you have to do is select the program and then go to the checkout and you're good to go And you're done

[00:08:34] Yep You're one and done That's right And then one other question I'm thinking of that if you have multiple children is there a difference in pay or is they all the same Yes So for soccer there's a multiple child discount So the first child is $45 and then the second child third child whatever is $40 after that Okay Baseball I believe is $5 after the second So the first two are full price and then the third child is $5 off $5 off Yeah And then so soccer is $45 starting and then baseball

[00:09:04] softball T-ball T-ball is $45 and then baseball softball is $55 Okay Awesome Anything else before Is there anything coming up that you know you can like give us the dish on like spill some tea on that's allowed that not that we're allowed to know I always like to throw you a curveball We'll be doing a spring pickleball league Okay So that's hopping We just recently opened the pickleball courts outside there are three

[00:09:34] permanent courts at the Milner Rec Center next to the tennis courts Yeah We'll be doing a spring league outside that's going to be really fun There's really nothing under wraps right now Everything Yeah I was going to say do you have dad brain yet I do With your four month old baby That's a thing Yeah Yeah That's a legit thing Baby brain I know I hear about mom brain and like if I'm talking too

[00:10:03] It happens It happens Are we thinking about having another baby Yes I think so Right now we're enjoying our time with Billy Learning all about parenthood and helping her learn about becoming her own little person But whenever she's two I think is what we're thinking about There you go Yeah I remember when She was a rough go I don't know I didn't have any trouble on the even numbers It was always the odd

[00:10:33] numbers Oh Was it I think it just depends on your child I had a friend call me and her little boy was one and she was like in tears She said He's just hold for everything I think we're already in the terrible two So I'm like no honey you're in the ornery once You're in a whole other thing Those first few years as they're trying to develop their personality and figure out who they are and you're trying to figure out who they are It's insane

[00:11:03] I've told you over and over again I'll take a toddler boy over a teenage girl I'm not doing that again But with that said good luck Thank you I need it If you need any help or if Graylin needs somebody to watch your baby so she can take a shower It's a thing It is I was a single mom with Ellie for the first two years It was me and her against the world

[00:50:46] your eyes and i i don't yeah i'm not gonna i didn't know the name but i recognized then i recognized it but so give it a listen and i'm not allowed to play this game but we actually had an interview and i was a radio station we made duke's name an interview and it's all right because she had a book coming out and some other things and uh we made her talk in this in this voice that she does for a living

[00:51:15] yeah and uh and so i just was like i think it's my brother is a huge fanatic of this this thing and i hate it i want to tell you when you figure out what it is i'm not a fan of this this play this thing i don't want to say what it is or give it away because we had to watch it all the time all the time well speaking of voice characters one of our locals here in town miss michelle carpenter yeah she does voices for uh she reads like novels and stuff like that

[00:52:14] wrap up talk talk about each flavor really quick in case you want to get an appetizer for me whether it's the mozzarella steak or the spinach artichoke or the uh what was this one this was cheddar fries okay so cheddar fries are one of my weaknesses that and potato skins and not enough restaurants here provide that no and i'm talking about legit cheese fries don't be squeezing out some velvita sauce up on top of them i want i want cheese and bacon and some ranch and i'm not a big ranch fan but i will eat them with

[00:52:44] certain foods and this was this was phenomenal she said one of her weaknesses and i immediately went to somebody singing that suspicious and then their mozzarella sticks which is another thing that is one of my favorites and again i'm i'm very particular and those were delicious and that's been a jar joke dip that's a dinner by itself i like it it's free yes that's really thick you get spinach or choke it's like and i like my free and the chips are perfect you can't

[00:53:13] have too thick of a chip you gotta have a thin chip with the correct oh it's so good so with said uh okay which one was the hottest sauce that you tried i think that caribbean was a pretty nice i would give it about a five okay that hot sauce was a four maybe a four and a half that's just a little bit more the sweet chili is just sweet and the teriyaki was just yeah the teriyaki was delicious

[00:53:43] really good and the garlic was garlicky and the ranch was good old ranch the mild was perfect it was not a lot of heat it was just enough to heat to to maybe make your nose run a little bit um but it was it was very good very very good and one cool thing about all these places which i know mud bumps can't be the only one like when we ordered this we asked them to put the sauce on the side yeah i bet when you if you guys don't if you want to keep your kitchen clean at

[00:54:10] home ladies or whoever cooks me me if you want to keep your fishing clean and you want to do like one less thing that's why you should order out and get these wings to go whether you want bone in bone out um you know and then get the sauce on the side i bet they will do it for you so your guests can choose what they want on their side because not everybody for example if you've got somebody like sir derrick he's not going to do garlic and ranch so that's all the wings

[00:54:39] you got well you're SOL you know well and i will say i'm a big wing a bone in wing person my son does not want bone in today we did boneless and it was really good um you get more meat that way after the line yes yes but there's just something about gnawing on a bone that's just primordial i just primal primal primordial something learned a lot
